Dallas is a big city with many distinctive neighborhoods offering a wide variety of housing options. From luxury apartments, condominiums, and townhomes to the mansions on Turtle Creek to the beautiful hillside homes of East Kessler, Dallas has something for everyone. Home to “Big Tex” and the State Fair of Texas, this annual tradition is a staple among DFW families drawing crowds from all over the country. Dallas’ most recognizable landmark is Reunion Tower with its 561 ft observation tower. Affectionately known by locals as the “Big Ball”, you can enjoy complete views of the city in Wolf Gang Puck’s restaurant Five Sixty. Dallas is a major hub of business, culture, entertainment, and retail. The city offers many shopping malls and commercial areas, including the three-level Galleria Dallas in North Dallas. Here, you’ll find more than 200 restaurants and retailers, including fashion brands and department stores such as Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Forever 21, Francesca’s, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, lululemon athletica, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Zara. Galleria Dallas also has an ice skating rink! During the holiday season, the mall displays the largest indoor Christmas tree in the United States. NorthPark Center boasts more than 235 businesses generating over $1 billion in annual sales. This upscale retail destination has won many design awards—the interior of NorthPark Center is decorated with artwork such as Mark di Suvero’s 48-foot-tall Ad Astra sculpture and paintings from Andy Warhol and many other famed artists. NorthPark Center’s AMC movie theater is the best place in Dallas to see the latest releases. Highland Park Village opened in the 1930s as the United States’ first planned shopping center. This attractive shopping village features leading luxury brands such as Balenciaga, Dior, Hermes, and Tom Ford. It also offers refined patio dining at restaurants such as Bistro 31 and The Honor Bar. Dallas’ diverse dining scene provides plenty of culinary experiences to enjoy. In a state famed for its barbecue, Pecan Lodge in the Downtown Main Street District stakes a strong claim to cooking the most delicious smoked meats in all of Texas. Bullion is a multi-award-winning restaurant serving sublime French brasserie fare crafted by Texas’ only Michelin-starred chef. Things to Do

The American Airlines Center is home to two of Dallas’ most beloved sports teams: the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and NHL’s Dallas Stars. The American Airlines Center also serves as a concert venue for top-performing acts such as Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and many others. White Rock Lake spans more than 1,000 scenic acres just five miles northeast of Downtown Dallas. Attractions here include the Dallas Arboretum and the Bath House Cultural Center, which stages more than 200 performances every year. Dallas Zoo is the oldest zoo in Texas with exhibits that include more than 2,000 animals from over 400 different species. Downtown Dallas has the largest art district in the United States. Cultural attractions within the Arts District include the Dallas Museum of Art and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
